Helium and Hydrogen Exploration: What to know (Part 2)
He/H2/U/Th Exploration
Exploration of Helium and Hydrogen is an excellent tool for Uranium and Thorium. Helium- 4 is derived from the decay of Uranium/Thorium in the crust. Hydrogen has various other sources. A new geochemical exploration system for Helium and Hydrogen in the Phanerozoic is considered highly desirable by industry and can be used for discoveries of ore deposits in the Precambrian. The current exploration system uses a modified petroleum system concept that has been successful for decades to high-grade plays and de-risk oil and gas prospects. Like a petroleum system the Helium or Hydrogen system is identified by its source rock, reservoir, trap, seal and migration pathways. The Helium gas as well as nitrogen and CO2 are believed to migrate until trapped by anticlinal structures. A specialized probe has been developed to extract samples to detect small changes in Helium and Hydrogen concentrations in the sub-soil. Various methods are used for unique soil types and applications to gain the most reliable results for further interpretation. The technology utilized by Rudiger Rechem can reduce overall costs in developing a prospective deposit/sources. The same technology can be implemented for Uranium and Thorium exploration as it uses the similar basis for the evolution of Helium and Hydrogen. Rudiger Rechem has provided these services around the world. Learn more - Click Here
